That’s not entirely true and they’re considered more of a “driver’s” car, but that’s entirely subjective. There’s also a race pedigree that comes with the Porsche name as well as the engineering. They’re still widely regarded as one of the only super cars you can commute in regularly without needing constant adjustments/maintenance. Clearly I have a bias, but they’re both fantastically popular cars.
P.S. The Corvette might be cheaper, but its not faster and its poor weight distribution (this is something I’ve heard, but not experienced) make it prevalent to fishtailing.
