I did most of my car work when I was studying mechanical engineering for my bachelor’s. I had free time and internships in the summer. I interned at a machine shop, that helped a lot. I did most of the work in my father’s wood working shop. Not the ideal place for auto fabrication but I worked within my limits and built in adjustability to account for the low tolerance steel parts I was capable of making in a wood shop

I work for the navy, I’ve had to garage my car due to no first or fourth gear. Saving up for a subarugears transmission.

I have big plans for my car but I’m only recently living on my own so I need to save before I can spend more on my dream car
